GRAVE Announce One-Off Hometown Gig, Austrian Festival Appearance
February 20, 2006Legendary Swedish death metallers GRAVE will play a one-off show on March 4 at Club666 (Kolingsborg) in Stockholm supporting Brazil's KRISIUN. Also appearing on the bill will be IMMERSED IN BLOOD and IMPERIOUS. The band are also confirmed for the Devil Days Open Air festival in St. Leonhard, Austria on June 9. Other bands scheduled to perform include ENTOMBED, ENSLAVED, BELPHEGOR, DEW-SCENTED, CALLENISH CIRCLE, SINISTER and CATARACT.
GRAVE are in the process of writing material for their new album, tentatively due before the end of the year. The band's latest CD, "Fiendish Regression", was released in August 2004 through Century Media Records. The group's sixth full-length effort was recorded and mixed at Abyss studio with producers Tommy and Peter TÃĪgtgren. 11 tracks were recorded for the album, including nine brand new songs, a cover version of the SAINT VITUS classic "Burial At Sea" and a re-recording of an old GRAVE song, "Autopsied", which was originally written and recorded for promotion in 1989.
GRAVE are currently in the middle of "The Domination Tour 2006" alongside CRYPTOPSY, DEW-SCENTED, ABORTED and VESANIA.
